Spring births

Just a brief post to let you know of some new arrivals born recently at the zoo:

Mammals:

1 Ring-Tailed Lemur

Birds:

Hatched:
2 Bali Starling (nearly extinct in the wild)
1 African Penguin
1 Palawan Peacock Pheasant
2 Spreo Starling
1 Inca Tern

Incubating:
Socorro Dove (Extinct in the wild)
Greater Flamingo
Pied Avocet
Roul-Roul Partridge
Azure-Winged Magpie
Satyr Tragopan
Orange-Headed Thrush

Reptiles and Amphibians:

6 Roti Island Snake-Necked Turtle
60 Chinese Mandarin Newt

Some of these species I have blogged about in the past, others I will put on my list to write about this year.
